Phalaenopsis and Freshwater Pearl Earrings

Big, bold, beautiful pale purple and yellow phalaenopsis orchids turned into earrings. These are REAL orchids that I’ve dried and encapsulated in resin, paired with yellow crystal and freshwater pearl beads! These few pairs are the largest I’ve made, measuring at a 3.75 inch drop and about 3.5 inches wide. If you’re looking for a statement earring, this is the one!! Available in silver or gold. 

Please note that it is completely normal for preserved flowers to fade over time, even when encapsulated in resin as these are - it’s part of their natural beauty. 

While the resin that is used is quite hard and sturdy, they are still delicate. If packing handmade earrings for travel, I recommend using a large hard sided glasses case to keep them from getting crushed, no matter if they’re made of flowers, resin, or clay.
